The challenge
Jerome's put all of its ad spend on Google because every attempt to diversify to Facebook or Bing gave unreliable results — the numbers never made sense. 14% of paid traffic was bots (deck); by platform, 15% on Google and 40% on Facebook (KPI sheet). Read-only monitoring ran from 1 July 2025; a Facebook bot spike was the reason to switch blocking on.
What we did
Blocking enabled 5 August 2025 on every click scoring below 30. From then on every bot below the threshold was blocked and $0 was charged for fraud. On 30 August, for the first time ever, their Facebook ad traffic reached 0% bots — 100% genuine human traffic.
The results
- Before 14% of all paid traffic identified as bots
- After 100% block below threshold 30 — $0 in charges for ad fraud
- +73% human paid traffic in the first month, no increase in daily budget
- +81% conversions in the first month
- Facebook traffic hit 0% bots on 30 August 2025 — first time ever
- Could finally scale ads to real humans on more platforms
What they told us
All our ad spend was on Google. Every time we diversified to Facebook or Bing the results were unreliable. With bot detection, protection and training, we could finally scale ads to real humans on more platforms.
